Mr. Nazrizoda was appointed First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan in March 2015. Previously, Mr. Nazrizoda served as Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade since 2009. In that capacity he was in charge of key activities related to foreign economic relations, including the process of accession of the Republic of Tajikistan to the World Trade Organization. As Chief Negotiator he was in charge of all multilateral and bilateral negotiations with WTO Members, which lead to successful conclusion of negotiations and subsequent full-fledged membership of Tajikistan in the WTO, in March 2013. Mr. Nazrizoda has served in the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in various functions since 1999, including as aide to the President on economic policy and as chief advisor on Tajikistan’s Trade Representation in the Russian Federation. Mr. Nazrizoda is a mechanical engineer with a PhD from the Moscow Road Transport University. He earned an MBA from the Russian-German МВА program at the Academy of National Economy Government of the Russian Federation.
